Our Services

Your landscape is one of your biggest investments; partner with us so you can protect it.

The health and beauty of a landscape depends on proper design, plant selection, placement, planting, and pruning. Our goal is to help property owners and managers achieve the healthiest, most attractive landscapes.

We service the greater Reno/Sparks area; however, we set aside a few days a month to go to outlying communities such as Carson City, Minden/Gardnerville, Dayton, Yerington, Fernley, and Truckee.

Consulting and Plant Problem Diagnosis

We are passionate about diagnosing problems with landscape plants to help them thrive. We can identify insect, disease and cultural practices that lead to a decline in plant health.   Call to learn more.

Landscape Health Evaluations

Whether you are a residential or commercial property, we will help you understand the health of your landscape. We can identify problems you are not aware of and make recommendations to improve the health and beauty of your landscape.

Structural and Corrective Pruning

We specialize in corrective pruning of young landscape trees and are knowledgeable in structural pruning to give young trees a healthy start.  We are also experts in specialty pruning such as ornamental japanese maples and espalier trees. Call us for a free estimate.

Hands-on-Training

We train both homeowners and landscape professionals how to take care of their trees and shrubs.  If you want to learn how you can properly maintain and care for your landscape, give us a call and let us help you.

Additional Services

Stewardship Horticultural offers many additional services (ask us about aeroponic gardening).  If you don't see what you are looking for on our website give us a call to discuss your needs.

Why Hire a Certified Arborist?

Recognition as a Certified Arborist is achieved through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). The purpose of the ISA certification program is to improve the level of knowledge and standard of practice within the tree care profession. It is designed to assist the public in identifying those professionals in arboriculture who have demonstrated, through a professionally developed examination and education program, a thorough knowledge of tree care practices. Hiring a Certified Arborist gives one assurance of receiving the highest level of expertise for the care of their trees and shrubs.
